UGREEN 65W USB-C GaN Charging Station-7 Ports Desktop Charger

A bit of electrical whine whilst in use

Very useful combination of USB charging and extra mains sockets. One star knocked off because when you plug a new device in for charging it momentarily disconnects the power to the devices already charging. This means you can't really use one of the outputs for powering something that wants to have un-interrupted power like a home cct camera or network drive. Its sold as a charger so maybe that functionality was never intended but even using it just for charging its slightly irritating that when you plug in another phone all the already charging phones chirp because the power drops out and comes back on again.

Brilliant piece of equipment you can charge fast a lot of gadgets in one go, fast delivery in just a day, reasonable price??

Briilant device, such a lot of reliable power in a compact unit. Excellent value for money and delivered in less than 24 hours of ordering. Just incredible!

I do like this, it's generally more nice to look at than a standard extension lead however I really don't understand why it's the price it is. Seems extremely overpriced when it's just a glorified extension lead. It does have two USB A ports and two type c ports as well as 3 UK mains plugs so it's handy for most things, it has a tiny little led light on it too show its got power, an off/on switch, a reasonable length lead and supports fast charging. As stated it supplies 65 watts of power but that's between all of the slots put together not individually. Overall it works absolutely fantastic, I can't fault it at all really. The two advantages from a standard extension lead is that it supports fast charging and has type c ports which is very helpful these days. It's fantastic, really smart bit of kit I just simply think it's overpriced and not particularly worth spending that amount of money on.

The USB ports are of differing voltages. The lower one does not fully charge my smart watch or phone even when left overnight so not sure what to use that port for. All other ports including the USB C works fine and no shortages. The cube can be switched on or off and there is a power indicator light to show this

This is a nice compact extension Cube with a good selection of outlets. It looks well made & is sturdy with nice grippy rubber strips on the base & a switch to the rear to turn it off.You get 3 x standard 13amp 3 pin sockets along with 2 x USB & 2 x USB-C connectors.I do get a strange occurrance with the USB connectors .... I have one that is powering a LED light & another to charge my tablet when it's beside the bed ... BUT ! When I plug in the tablet to charge the light comes on !!! & when i unplug the tablet the light goes off ........... Strange !!Apart from that little anomaly it's a nice unit .... if a little expensiveHope this helps

This is an excellent 65w power cube from ugreen , it's compact and saves space and is neater and tidier to use on your desk or anywhere in the home , work place. It's well made and looks durable , a great way to get a lot more use from a single wall power socket for entertainment set ups or to charge multiple devices at the same time. It's a really versatile cube with three 3 pin plug power supply and also 4 USB, 2 type C charging sockets ideal for charging modern mobile devices. This is great for using for entertainment purposes in your living room or bedroom , it will definitely save space and keep everything compact and neat and tidy. It's quite expensive compared to other similar charging or power supply devices I've used in the past but the build quality is excellent. It could also be used for travelling or for staying in hotels, caravans to get more use from a single socket, some hotels and caravans can lack a lot of power supply especially if you want or need to charge multiple electrical equipment, laptops, tablets, camera , phone , this enables you to keep everything charged or gives you good power supply options.A really good piece of kit.

Super compact, versatile power adapter for minimalistic office spaces or even on the go.Pros-7 in 1 outputs-3 X 13A AC outlets2 X 65W type C outputs2 X 18W QC/FCP USB A outlets.-Compact cube design-Mat finished on polycarbonate-So far didn't hear up much-1.8 M cable for extended cable use.- this might be very subtle but really cool- There is a small indicator light but that doesn't hurt your eyes at all especially who keeps awake in the dark.Cons.Honestly, there is nothing to not so far except the price tag. However, considering the features this is so much better than I would imagine and will not be regretted for paying it.

I have different UGREEN products and find them to be very useful and reliable. This 65W power cube has everything most people would need, with 4 USB ports and 3 plug sockets. You could charge 7 devices at once with this charging cube. There is also a on/off switch and a decent length cable at 1.9 meters. The USB ports are 2 C and 2 A.This Ugreen DigiNest USB C Charging Station offers up to 95% conversion rate in a more compact size and better heat dissipation, thermal guard technology and nonslip rubber strips.Lots of safety features with fireproof, surge and overload protection. With this I can easily charge my laptop, iPad and other tablets, iPhone, smartwatch and AirPods all at the same time if needed. Most items also charge at high speed.Currently on sale at ￡69.99, with a 20% discount voucher. Considering the amount of items that can be charged quickly with the compact charging cube, along with how well made it is. I believe this is worth the price and happy to recommend. Can be used for home office, travelling, work or family charging station.

This may seem a strange thing to start off a review with but this powerstrip really smells and not in a good way. It honks and I’m not sure how to describe the smell but you get it as soon as you open the box.I’ve had quite a few GaN chargers now and a number of UGREEN products also and I will say this is one of the best, apart from that smell, I have come across. Not only do you get dual USB-C and dual USB-A charging ports but also three plug sockets all in a compact cube shape. From a testing perspective for the ports, I take anything equal to or above 2.4A to constitute fast-charging. To hand I had a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus and a Samsung Galaxy A51. Unfortunately my daughter wasn’t around, so I wasn’t able to test it with her iPhone and iPad.Just charging the S22 Ultra, it was charging at a whopping 5.55A. Then I added the S7 Plus to the 2nd USB-C port and it was getting 3.68A, with the S22 getting 3.8A. when I subsequently added the A51 to USB-A Port 1, something strange happened. The charging rate for the S22 went up to over 5A, with the S7 Plus remaining pretty much where it was. The A51 was charging at around 1.45A.When I started charging the S22, which has a 5,000mAh battery, it was at 9% and in under 30min, it was at 85% - I have the max charge level set at 85% to preserve the battery life.Plugging my daughter’s laptop into one of the USB-C ports, it was getting 59W, which was in line with it normal charging performance and the S7 Plus was still fast charging. The outputs from the ports is going vary depending on how many devices you are charging. They start at, left to right, 65W, 65W, 18W & 18W for single port charging and drop to 30W, 20W, 15W & 15W for 4-port. These are all maximum figures. The instructions detail this and advise what type of devices can be connected to each port depending of the no of ports being used. One of the reasons this charger performs so well is down to the Voltage Vs Amps. Most fast chargers will fast charge a 5V/3A but if your device is charging at 9V, you may only get 2A. This one gives you 3A from 5V to 21V across both USB-C1 & USB-C2 ports. This is not the same for the USB-A ? ports, which give 5V/3A, 9V/2A & 12V/1.5A.Just to tidy up the spec for the entire powerstrip, it’s 2990W, 13A, 250V MAX.I am honestly impressed with the performance of this powerstrip and although it not cheap (￡69.99), I personally think it’s worth the money if you need to charge multiple devices at a decent rate. At the time of writing this, there is a 20% of voucher on the Amazon UK product page, taking the price down to ￡55.99.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.

This is a small cube multi charger that can charge multiple Devi at the same time. It’s compact but rather heavy. The build and plastic quality is exceptional though. You can charge three x 3 pin mains devices plus 2 x usb and 2 x usb c devices.I can’t fault the quality but the price is far too high I think. It’s currently seventy pounds nearly and although it’s 65 watts I would need a good reason to pay that much . If it was cheaper I’d recommend it.

This an extension block unlike any you've seen before. This is a subtle piece of kit - it looks more like a piece of furniture or a speaker than a mundane, functional extension block. So, as they say in boxing - what's the tale of the tape?A small, almost cube (7.7 x 7.6 x 7.6 cm) with 1.8m cable length; three standard socket outlets (2990W load); 2 x USB-A (18W load) and 2 x USB-C (65W load) fast-charge ports you can power a lot of kit simultaneously, which is what we all want nowadays. There is a single switch at the back to turn the block on or off, and a very gentle, subtle light on the front face tells you which state it is in. According to the manufacturers the conversion rate is 95% so this is very efficient and cost effective to run and has a lot of safety features built in so it doesn't overheat, overload or generally fail in use. Excellent. The base has small anti-slip feet for greater stability. Great.Like I said, all this doesn't come cheap, but if conversion rate and speed of charge are anything like what is claimed then you'll save money on electricity, which in this day and age is what we all so desperately need to do.All in all this is a powerful, subtle piece of kit that would grace any home or office.
