UGREEN Nexode 45W 2-Port Charger

Great compact charger that supplies enough power to charge both my laptop and Steam Deck, although not both at the same time if under high loads. Perfect for me when it comes to travelling as both Emirates and KLM have UK 3 pin compatible sockets on their aircraft which allows me to play my steam deck for the full duration of a flight.This is really is compact when folded away so takes up next to no room in your bag or pocket.

What a beautifully designed charger. Never thought I would say that. I love the clever design of the folding 3 legs to make it compact and great for storage and traveling.Has 2x usb-c ports. That makes it practical. 45w means it will charge your phone fast. If you charge 2 devices at the same time then one will charge at 25w and the other at 20w. Still pretty good.This brand has been making a name for itself in the UK for the last couple of years and it's doing a good job.It's a bit pricey at ￡35.99 but there is a 20% off voucher as well at the moment which makes it a bit more acceptable. I like it.

Arrived safe and with fast delivery a well made charger, that allows me to connect 2 usb devices, fast charging both of the ports simultaneously.It has foldable pins that make it easy to carry it in your bag.I am very pleased using this device.I would highly recommend it.

Does exactly what it promises: 45W of charging power or 25 W + 20 W in a block about 1.5 times the size of Apple’s 20W folding charger. I’ve used this to keep my laptop going with a moderate charge speed, although it came with a 65W charger. It played nicely with my Switch and iPhones. It’s even worked OK with some more obscure items like a Panic playdate. The only negative has been that the folding action is a teeny bit less smooth than the Apple folding charger. This is an indispensable travelling companion.

It's a compact charging adapter capable of Fast Charging and is compatible with multiple devices which charge by USB C.GaN chargers have come down significantly in price recently and have become much more affordable. GaN chargers are much more efficient and give off less heat than standard charging devices. This charger from UGREEN is reasonably priced at ￡34.99 with a 15% off voucher at time of review (Feb 2023). It's a foldable charger making it ideal for travel usage, the foldable design is a real space saver and it's obvious UGREEN has put a lot of thought into the Product.This 45w charger has 2x USB C ports and the charging capabilities are dependent on how many devices you're charging. The listing has a really useful diagram which shows the outputs, I'd recommend looking at this prior to purchasing to ensure this will meet your needs. It'll fast charge 2 smartphones simultaneously, 25w from 1 port and 20w from the other however if you're planning on charging multiple power hungry devices such as laptops it may be worth getting a more powerful charging adapter.Overall I'm really impressed with this product and would happily recommend it. It's perfect for travel use and ideal for day to day usage.

I brought this charger when it first released because for the longest while, I was looking for a charger that met the following criteria: compact, 45W for single port, dual USB-C ports, foldable prongs, supports Steam Deck and notebooks, and with great quality of finish. This one satisfied all of them. It worked great out of the box and my electric devices didn’t give me a slow charging message unlike some other brand’s chargers.

It does what it says on the tin, it charges 2 gadgets as long as they are within 45 w consumption, I managed to charge my laptop and my samsung s22 ultra all at the same time on fast charging I may add as well.

I use a lot of Ugreen products and it's one of my favourite brands for chargers due to their innovative designs, superior quality, reliability and performance, plus all Ugreen products I have used bear the appropriate C E safety endorsement stamps so I trust and use them with confidence.This new-generation GaN (Gallium Nitride) efficient and powerful charger is a super design with a smoothly rounded and almost tactile charger with a very neat folding 3-pin design on the underside. A flick of the longer 'earth' pin unfolds this together with the live and neutral pins, both of which are insulated, for plugging into a UK socket. The two USB-C ports offer 45W charging output between them allowing two tablets, phones or similar to be charged at approx 20W each, simultaneously or a single device to charge at up to 45W.It charges exactly as promised and is a charger I trust while also moving away from silicon technology. UGREEN is fast becoming a recognised brand of decent products that perform as they claim to. This charger is no different.The charger is really well built and presented. The UK plug pins cantilever out to keep the charger really small in size (see shortest video ever for demo). When extended the plug pins still manage to remain firm though so it seats well in the socket.The two USB-C sockets are well placed within the housing and offer a reassuring "click" when a cable is plugged in, no play in it at all.In use it quickly detects the charging protocol and provides a solid, stable charge for both attached devices. It maxed out on my mobile phone at 3.5A at 5V, which is fairly decent, well within the realms of a fast-charge.The attractive feature of this charger is the small size and solid performance. I've included a photo of it next to it's smaller brother which is a 20W charger of similar design also made by UGREEN. This 45W charger has two USB-C sockets and is only very slightly bigger in size than the single USB-C socket 20w charger. This one is built just as well but has more sockets and faster charging capacity. I really like it. It lives in my overnight bag permanently now.

I needed a compact travel charger that can charge my s23 ultra and galaxy tab at full speed. This does the job perfectly. It shows up as a super fast charger when connected.It also charges my Lenovo slim 7 pro x at 45w which is ideal for day to day use, and charging the device. Obviously a 100w charger would be preferred for more demanding tasks or quicker charging.See size comparison between ugreen 100w charger and this 45w charger.The folding pins add to the portability of this charger, and also protects contents of your bag.All in all, a happy customer.

This is my first GaN charger and I'm impressed. It's smaller than any other USB charger I've used, yet it has two USB-C ports and offers 45W charging. On top of all of this, the prongs can be folded away. Excellent stuff.

Value for money

This is a really impressive looking charger with its satin finish and fold away prongs. You get two usb C port that will intelligently recognise the optimum charge level for your device. So basically the 45w is split if you have two devices in a ratio that each device needs. It says it supports various fast charging protocols too.Price seems fair given the high build quality and the intelligent charging system.

Does the job but gets very hot in the process. Would not leave it charging and go out.
