UGREEN 6-in-1 USB-C Hub

Good product!

This is a reasonably priced multi-port adapter that provides power (via PD), HDMI, USB3, and SD/TF card functions. It's advertised as being capable of 100W; however, in reality it can only supply a max of 85W to ALL devices while at the same time providing a maximum of 60W (pic 6) to the laptop/devices only. Unlike other similarly priced USB-C docks out there, this one supports a max refresh rate of 60Hz at 4K resolution that others don't support.≡ Specs & features* 1x 100W PD (Input, 20V/5A)* 1x 85W PD (Output, built-in cable)* 1x USB-C for data @ 6Gbps (max current 0.9A)* 1x HDMI 4K@60Hz* 1x SD/Micro SD card reader* 2x USB 3.0 @ 5 Gbps≡ What I like? 4K video supports 60 Hz which many others don't? Fast data transfer via USB 3.0 port when connecting to an external USB 3.0 dock? Nice and clean physical build and appears to be well made? Compact and portable - can be carried around with ease? Plug'n'Play - I was able to use it right away without issues≡ What I don't like? No Ethernet port or secondary VGA port? Maximum power provided to laptop capped at 60W (most likely slightly lower though)? Runs a bit warmer than expected when in high load/charging≡ ValueIt's a relatively decent docking station; however, it doesn't have an Ethernet port and the fact that it can only provide no more than 60W-ish with a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz at 4K makes it a somewhat weak contender in comparison to some others with similar specs albeit slightly more expensive. It is relatively reasonably priced at $43 given the fact that it does support 4K@60Hz.

This USB C hub adapter is compact and does exactly what it's supposed to. It supported pass through charging so you just plug your charging cable into this adapter and then the adapter to your device. This feature is very useful. I watched a movie trough a usb in the hub and there was no buffering and I did not notice any charging issues while playing the movie.Overall this USB C hub is good

The Ugreen USB-C 6-in-1 Hub is a quality built hub, with a solid aluminum housing and braided USB-C cable. It is versatile with an HDMI port that supports 4K/60Hz, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, SD card reader, micro-SD card reader and a USB-C PD port for power. The USB-C port is strictly for power and doesn't work for data and has max power output of 100W.The hub makes a great and affordable dock for Surface Pro. The 9 in cable is a good length and when connected to Surface Pro 7, the hub can sit flat on your desk. This is not true for other USC-C hubs with shorter cables. The HDMI worked great and does support 4K at 60Hz (see photo). The SD card reader also works great and I tested with a 1000X SD card using AJA System Test and got about 80MB/s Read and Write, which is similar performance to mI get with my Kingston MobileLite USB 3.0 SD Card Reader.Only port I would have liked added is a gigabit ethernet port. Even without ethernet, the Ugreen hub is a solid, versatile and good performing hub. Recommended.

This is a good USB-C hub. The only downside is that it did not work between my laptop and a built in hub monitor. I never tried to power this device if possible. It was worth a shot. Well built device.

I'd been on the lookout for one of these for ages, but hadn't really gone through and purchased. I did make a wee mistake and didn't realise it was usbc, so I had to pick up a converter, but it still works a treat and super fast also.

This is an excellent addition to a budget windows laptop. It is useful to have the extra ports. It is small so fits in the bag easily and would appear to be very well made, like most Ugreen products
