Key Tips for Setup and Use

Laptops Compatibility Works with Windows laptops and MacBooks equipped with Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 5 ports. Not compatible with Thunderbolt 3 Windows laptops, AMD-based laptops and USB-C iPad models.
System Support Works with Windows 11/10 (23H2) and macOS 15 or later. Linux not supported.
Thunderbolt Controller FW Thunderbolt 4 Windows 11 laptops with 11th Gen Intel processors require Thunderbolt controller NVM firmware version 48.1 or later. Windows 10 laptops with 12th/13th Gen Intel processors require Thunderbolt controller NVM firmware version 20.1 or later.
Use Certified Cable Use the included Thunderbolt 5 cable or other certified Thunderbolt 5 cables. Uncertified cables may cause connection issues.
Single-Display Standard M1/M2/M3 MacBooks, and Windows laptops only supporting USB-C DP Alt mode support one external display.
Dual-Display MacBooks with M1/M2/M3 Pro/Max chips, all M4 models, M5 standard chips and Thunderbolt 5/4 Windows laptops support dual external display.
Triple-Display Triple-Display depends on your laptop specs. Based on our testing, the MacBook Pro with M5 Pro/Max chips and Razer Blade 18 Gaming Laptop with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 successfully supports triple display.
High-Refresh-Rate Limitation For Thunderbolt 4 MacBooks and Windows laptops, dual-display output may be limited if one monitor's max spec exceeds 4K@144Hz, allowing only one display to output. Using a high-refresh-rate monitor (>4K@144Hz) together with a standard 4K@60Hz monitor may result in single-display output after sleep/wake. Connecting the standard monitor first may help.
High-Refresh-Rate Requirement Higher display refresh rates (>60Hz) may require display and host GPU support for Display Stream Compression (DSC). Color depth may vary to enable higher refresh rates.
Dual 5K/6K Display Requirement Dual 5K or dual 6K display support requires Thunderbolt 4 displays, or Apple Studio Display (5K) / Apple Pro Display XDR (6K). 6K and 8K resolutions require host computer support for DSC.
Host Laptop Charging 140W charging requires PD 3.1. For higher power, use the original adapter.
Early MacBooks Charging Notice Some early MacBook models feature Thunderbolt ports that support only PD 3.0, including 16‑inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro/Max & M2 Pro/Max chips.
Dell Charging Notice Some Dell laptops use a proprietary protocol and may display a “slow charging” warning with non-Dell chargers. If your Dell laptop requires 140W or less, the dock will charge it at the same speed as the original adapter.
Power Adapter Connection Insert the power adapter firmly and fully into the dock’s DC port to ensure stable operation.

UGREEN docking stations make it easy to build a more efficient desk setup. Choose a thunderbolt 5 dock for advanced workflows or a thunderbolt 4 dock for dependable everyday performance. Whether you are looking for a versatile MacBook dock or a dock for mixed-device use, UGREEN helps simplify connectivity and expand your workspace.

    Good product.

Needed something to just work with M4 Pro MacBook Pro. Works perfectly with 2 1080p 120hz monitors and enough type A connections for all my peripherals. Also the cheapest TB5 dock I've found.

    Good product.

Plugged straight in, works out the Box with Fedora. I was looking at others as this didn't state it supports 3x 2k monitors but after researching it does. I've test the 2.5gb link and it's running full speed (another user said it didnt). No issues, probably the best for price and what you get, no issues my end with Linux. Can imagine windows would be the same (probably focused on windows). Get it, you won't be disappointed.

    Good product.

Good bit of kit. Purchased for Thunderbolt 5 capability as I will upgrade my laptop soon.

Made running two monitors much easier with a MacBook Pro 13" 2020. Also able to have a Logitech dongle, audio interface and midi keyboard hooked up. Happy it's just one cable to plug in directly to the MacBook and no additional adapters or stretching monitor cables. And turning everything off at one button is great.

Does run hot, so I keep it stood upright for best exposure to air circulation

    Good product.

Firstly this is quite a large dock. It has a sizeable heatsink on it that is needed as it does get warm when under load and it makes this into quite the chunky unit.
The build quality is above and beyond though, everything is really nicely crafted and the materials used are great choices. I imagine the main unit is some kind of alloy, but I am unsure what it is exactly, but it's metallic and hard wearing.
    Now for the features.
The Ethernet port is 2.5Gbps, which in reality gives me more like 2Gbps, so that is fine. I haven't experienced faster so I know this is expected.
The USB speeds are also at the upper end of what is expected too, but the real star of the show here is the thunderbolt ports, I have used these to run dual monitors (I dont have three yet) and they work superbly, even for gaming on, which I was worried about. I am not a pro gamer or anything but I couldn't really notice any lag here, but that might just be me, I am sure there should be some, but I couldn't perceive it.
So yeah, for me this is ideal, it turns my humble laptop into a powerhouse of connectivity, going from just one USB and one Thunderbolt, to this, is a huge upgrade on my ability to connect my peripherals.
Sure the cost might seem prohibitive, but the sheer amount of features it offers that are leading edge is amazing.
The only thing here that isn't top end is the network adapter, I have no idea why this is only 2.5Gbps when there is 10Gbps commonplace now, but in all fairness I don't have a 10Gbps network, so it would be wasted on me, but it would be nice, nonetheless.
I am still giving it 5 stars despite the network adapter not being the best available, as this really is a super dock, it really has transformed my ability to move data around from my laptop.

    Good product.

This works amazingly well with my laptop. I had to buy the right USB C cables to connect my monitors, but that was expected. The unit is chunky, but with the power it kicks out it doesn't surprise me. It's powered my standard office work HP, and my other halfs suped up machine.

I like that it have a power button, so I can tuck my laptop away on it's little cooling stand, and not hand to get it out, open it and press its power switch. I can do it all from this. It might sound weird, but even though I'm using the same type of connection INto my monitor, I swear the picture is better.

The extra USB ports makes this a must for modern laptops, which all seem to forget that we still need to plug stuff in (not everything is wireless).

It's silent, which I wasn't expecting (I thought you'd here a fan maybe), and it doesn't get hot (my old dock got scary hot sometimes.

Now... is it worth the price tag?.... That's subjective. For me, if I hadn't got this through the Vine reviewer program, I couldn't warrant the cost. However, if you require a thunderbolt dock then you really can't go wrong with this. Compact, neat, plenty of connectivity options, and really packs a punch with power.

    Good product.

These end-of-year student gift sets are quite a treat. Packed with 36 four-in-one retractable shuttle pens and accompanied by cheerful cards and ribbons, they're perfect for adding a bit of flair to any classroom celebration. The pens feature a multi-colour design, making writing tasks a little more exciting, or at least less dull. Each set includes 36 pens in six different colours, providing plenty of variety.

The cards include a charming message: "You HAP-PEN TO BE AN INK-CREDIBLE STUDENT," a fun play on words that should bring a smile to anyone's face, although perhaps a bit cheesy for some. The blank back of the cards offers enough space for personal messages, which is a thoughtful touch. As for the pens, they're decent for what you pay. Not exactly luxury writing instruments, but they get the job done.

At £16.99, these gifts offer good value for money given the quantity you're getting. Perfect as a thoughtful gesture to end the school year, especially if you're looking to spread some positivity. Although, expect the occasional ribbon to fray, it might be worth having a backup plan for tying them up neatly.

    Good product.

This is quite the unit. Solid, uncompromisingly-built, incredible specifications and silent. Thunderbolt 5 and USB 4 don't have a lot of uptake at the moment, but they will and this can already handle them. It comes at a price, but if you are after leading-edge tech, you're probably prepared to pay for it.

This takes a Thunderbolt connection and parcels it out to various USB ports. So you can carry 8K video over USB, carry Ethernet and get full power charging for high-draw devices. And it does all that flawlessly. Thunderbolt and USB have come on to the point where they carries video signals without altering them, effectively doing a pass-through. And it's the same with everything else. That's why a single connection can carry everything from your computer and split it at this unit.

The build quality is excellent. It's obvious this is a top of the line unit. It looks quiet and understated. And it's silent. If there's a fan in there, I couldn't hear it.

The only downside is the selection of ports. I was pleased to see a headphone port, which I was not expecting. But I was disappointed that there are no HDMI of DisplayPort sockets. Sure, I can carry those over USB and add an adaptor, but was it really not possible to include at least one HDMI to make life easier? And it's for those little things that I'll knock a star off.

But if you're in the market for a cutting-edge Thunderbolt hub, this is amazing. It does its job and just plain works. No drivers, no hassles, you're just up and away and never have to think about it again.

    Good product.

The Revodok Max 2131 is a serious bit of kit for anyone who’s tired of juggling dongles, converters, and port extenders like a caffeinated magician. With **13 ports**, including four Thunderbolt 5 connections and **120Gbps transfer speeds**, it’s built for people who deal in heavy files and high-res displays. Whether you're editing 8K footage or just want your Zoom calls to stop freezing mid-eye-roll, this dock packs the punch to keep your workspace running smooth and sharp.

The first time I plugged this in, I half expected my desk to launch into orbit. Instantly, my monitor lit up with crystal clarity, external drives mounted like clockwork, and my laptop started charging like it’d just found true love. I transferred a 20GB project folder in less time than it took to sip my tea (which I nearly spilled from excitement). It even kept my internet rock-solid during a client pitch where buffering would’ve been career suicide. Also, bonus points for decluttering my cable jungle, now my desk looks like it belongs to a functioning adult.
This Thunderbolt 5 Dock is priced quite high due to its advanced features and professional-grade specifications.
Quite simply, when he very best counts, it's worth it, so, it still represents good value.
If you're a multitasking maniac or a digital hoarder with a love for speed, this dock delivers in spades. ????

Highly recommend for professionals and power users tired of tech tantrums. Just mind the tea. ??

    Good product.

I was excited to try this thunderbolt 5 dock, but was meet with some disappointment on the first day when I could not use it. Unfortunately, I did not realise as my current dock has it, there is no HDMI output! I needed to get a USB-C to HDMI cable before I could even think about using it. Several days later my cable finally arrived, and I was able to use it.
It connected to my monitor without issue, and it pushed the 4k signal from my MacBook perfectly, and my Windows work laptop.
The rear USB-A sockets worked perfectly for connecting the dongles for my keyboard and mouse.
It was slightly disappointing for this price that the ethernet port is only 2.5 gigabit, when my NAS is 10 gigabits, along with my switch, but it did transfer files as full speed expected.
The connection to my laptop was perfect and charged lovely and quick.
The other USB-C ports worked exactly as intended, with good fast speed transfers.
One thing that is slightly frustrating is the external power brick, it is a shame that this has not been engineered to be inside the dock, which is already large.
It is designed with the larger bottom feet and the logo facing an upright position, when the unit is not exactly stable in this position.
The power button cannot be pressed without holding the dock, or it pushes backwards, I feel this is a bit of a design oversight.
The copper heat fins are necessary for cooling would have looked way better if they had a cover.
Overall I think it is overpriced for the features.

    Good product.

Absolutely chuffed with this product! Works a treat with my MacBook Pro, offering smooth connectivity and top-notch performance. The compact design and dependable function make it a cracking addition to my kit. Only slight niggle is the absence of an HDMI port, but all in all, it’s sturdy, smartly made, and well worth having. Highly recommend for fellow MacBook users!

    Good product.

In the box you get the docking station, power brick, USB-C cable and instructions. On the front of the unit you have the power button, blue on led underneath the power button, USB-C 10 Gbps port, two USB-A 10 Gbps, micro sd card slot, sd card slot and headphone socket. On the back you have four USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, ethernet port and dc in port. This unit can be placed upright or on it's side, it's quite a weighty little thing, looks and feels solid. Now to be honest i wasn't expecting this to work with my laptop, ( it's an old laptop running windows 10 ), but i was pleasantly surprised it did work, windows 10 picked it up without any issues, i was able to access the card readers and headphone jack which i connected a speaker to. Obviously there are quite a few things that won't work with my laptop, but i still have things to try. Watch this space. ( Oh and just as a side note i didn't pay for this item, i received it under the vine program ).

    Good product.

This Thunderbolt 5 dock really does look the part - it's a sleek charcoal grey case with insets to show the copper cooling fins on each side. There are 4 rubber feet on the base, and 4 rubber feet on the side, such that you can choose to use it in either landscape or profile mode.
It delivers outstanding speed for all connections, as you would expect for a Thunderbolt 5 hub, and to me it's almost perfect.
There are 2 factors weighing against it, in my mind:
There are already a few TB5 docks already on the market, and this is definitely at the top end of the price range for them. Spending just under £400 on a dock definitely seems a bit excessive!
I know it's meant for those with top spec Macs and studio monitors, but it takes minimalism a bit far to miss out ANY monitor based connection - no displayport, no HDMI, just TB5 and USB ports.
In terms of technology and execution, this dock definitely merits 5 stars, but for me it loses one for value for money and one for lack of video specific outputs

    Good product.

I’ve been using this docking station with both my MacBook Pro and a Windows laptop, and it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far. Plugging in two 6K displays worked without a hitch, and the transfer speed really does feel snappy—I moved a chunky batch of video files to an external SSD in no time. Having that many Thunderbolt 5 ports is a treat when working with high-spec gear.

The 140W charging was enough to power my laptop while running an external drive, webcam, and a few other bits without any slowdown. It definitely cleared up the mess of separate cables I had before. The 2.5Gbps Ethernet made large file uploads feel noticeably quicker, especially when sending video files to cloud storage.

The only hiccup was fitting it into my limited desk space—it’s slightly larger than I expected—but the performance more than makes up for that.

UGREEN Revodok Max 2131 Thunderbolt 5 Dock – Review

This dock by UGREEN is going for the ultra-high-end market of power users. It features Thunderbolt 5 support; this allows it to be capable of high data transfer speeds & high-resolution/refresh-rate displays. The docking station itself is extremely well made, it has a robust aluminium casing that is good for dissipating heat and providing durability to the dock.

The port selection is great, featuring 4x USB-A, 1x SD/TF Card, 1x USB-C, 1x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet & Thunderbolt 5 Downstream. These are all high-end ports, however, it would have been nice to see a few more USB-C or USB-A ports along with DisplayPort or HDMI, so you don’t need to rely on Thunderbolt for display output.

This docking station compares very similarly to Anker’s Prime TB5 docking station, which I have also had the chance to review. In my opinion, I prefer the Anker one and here is why. For me, it has a better port selection with the inclusion of HDMI & DP, along with additional USB A/C ports. I think the build quality is slightly better on the Ugreen docking. In regards to noise, I couldn’t tell if the Ugreen had a fan or if it was passively cooled. If it is actively cooled, it is completely silent. Whereas with the Anker, you could very slightly hear the fan in a completely silent room.

Overall, for £399.99, at the time of review, this is an expensive product, but it is unique with its offerings. It’s designed for power users who would like a no-compromise experience both in terms of performance & design/build quality. 4 stars.
