UGREEN 7-in-1 USB-C Hub with 4K HDMI

Good product!

Needed this hub for a few reasons.1. Put SteamOS Recovery on a MicroSD to format my new 1TB 2230 SSD for the Deck2. HDMI out at 60hzThe official Steam Deck dock is overpriced and I find the ugly logo a lot of these third party dock manufacturers use to just be hideous and off-putting. I decided it would be a better idea to just go with a hub instead for versatility and portability. I looked at quite a few USB C hubs and as you know there are a lot of concerning reviews you'll read on every one of them. There are just so many fly-by-night brands popping up now it's hard to tell what's trash and what's legit. I ended up just biting the bullet and went with this one.The build quality feels solid. Put a MicroSD card in and plugged it into my PC and it worked immediately. File transfers worked fine. Plugged it into my Deck and was able to install SteamOS on my new drive smoothly. Tested the HDMI and it worked without a hitch. I was also able to play the Steam Deck while it charged through the hub using the C port for passthrough power. I haven't tested the ethernet yet but I will get to it eventually. If any problems arise I WILL update this review. If there are no further mentions then you can assume it worked fine.Overall I am pretty satisfied so far. The only 'con' is that the hub got a little warm while it was charging the deck but I think that's probably pretty normal and to be expected.UPDATE: After playing using the HDMI adapter more I've run into an issue. At completely random intervals the signal will disconnect for 3-5 seconds. After some googling it looks like this is a fairly common issue. Whether or not it's directly related to the hub itself or something to do with the Steam Deck I'm not sure.

Bought this to work from home as laptop HDMI port was playing up. Great little docking unit which works through the laptop USB C then charges laptop from there. No problems connecting to separate monitor, keyboard and mouse. Could do with more USB ports, but I went for this version as we wanted 60Hz and easy to plug a small USB extender in if needed. Overall a great alternative to a Dell dock at a much better price.

Bought this because I found out the official Google Ethernet adapter is only 100 Mbps.This one is 1000 Mbps (gigabit) and works with the stock power supply if you only use it for ethernet + Chromecast Google TV.Note: I haven't tested the USB/memory card yet.Enjoy! ??

Good product!

So far not bad, but unfortunately like most other hubs it does get hot fast. I guess they don’t set up their chips with any cooling method. Good thing about it my wireless mouse doesn’t lag. I used a different brand of the same price before this one and using my usb wireless mouse was very awful. With UGREEN I haven’t had any complaints about using wireless mouse so far.

I've tried several brands, always encountering issues. The Ugreen just worked! I am using a 4k Dell 60hz screen. No screen flickering and my ethernet connection is getting me blazing fast speeds! Just keep on mind that you will need an external power source, so don't forget to consider that in your cost. Highly recommend this product.

Although I've only used this hub for 1 day I wanted to share some product feedback but also guidance to others who might be wanting to use in the same manner that I am.The short version is that this device works perfectly. Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI with 4K at 60hz, Power Delivery goes from 65W power supply to 60W reported by the laptop. The Model is CM512, Part Number 60515.My set-upLaptop: Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2iOS: Windows 10Usage: Desktop DockDevices connected:HDMI: MonitorEthernet: Gigabit switchPower Input: Lenovo 65w chargerUSB 3.0 Dell Wireless keyboard & mouse receiverUSB 3.0 Plantronics USB SpeakerphoneConnected to the ThinkPad using the laptop USB-C Dock portI got this hub to use as a dock to avoid having to plug/unplug the above devices everyday, it was not to provides ports that are missing on the laptop (they are all there). I was concerned about whether the laptop's 65W charger would still be able to charge it when connected as pass-through. And it does, just about.The power rate drops from 65W to 60W, the laptop still reports it's being charger, but it's not close to the actual rate possible. I had the laptop working in this set up for an hour when the battery was at 100%, after the hour the battery was at 99%. This does not create a problem for me as even a drop of 10% after 8 hours of work would still acceptable.I am looking into another USB-C power supply, it will probably be an 80W or greater, which will be to power this unit and the laptop's power supply will then be available for trips.For those wondering, the ethernet adapter is ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter.The hub was Plug n Play for Windows, did not ask for any drivers.Pictures are attached for the LAN speed, LAN driver details, and HDMI 4K display refresh rates support. BTW the HDMI was tested on an LG C1 4K TV which support 120hz.Overall I'm happy with this hub, does everything I need it to do.

Got this to sport my M1 MacBook Air (2020) since it only has 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports. I use an SD card A LOT so this was very helpful when transferring pictures from my camera to the laptop for post-processing. This dongle is pretty nice to have when connecting peripherals like a USB wireless mouse or an external monitor via HDMI. Overall, this is a pretty good dongle for any laptop with a USB-C port.

Purchased to go with my iPad, works great. Honestly very impressed with all the UGREEN products, everything very well buit and seems to work as well if not better than most similar products. More than happy to recommend UGREEN to anyone.

I've been very happy with my other UGREEN hubs and this one works just great. Connectors are tight and it's easy to pack in your bag for traveling, of course.

I use this all the time. It is lightweight so I carry it in my purse and I'm always prepared. I had to put my name on it b/c it is so popular that it has walked away a few times.

Well for the price point it can drive a 4k display at 60Hz without having to go into low resolution mode on my M3 MacBook Air. Pleased with this purchase.
